Patient Consultation - Venue Change

 

The planned patient consultation on the 19th October at 18:30, has changed venues and will now be held at the Fairway Primary School off the fairway in Leigh-on-Sea

 

 

If you know someone who is planning to attend but who does not recieve the practice newsletter or uses the internet please inform them of the change

Consultation

The consultation provides a forum for your views to be heard. The consultation document can be downloaded from the practice website It must be stressed that at present there are no firm plans and your input is key to determining the future. There has naturally been a lot of concern by local residents regarding the possible closure of the Belfairs Branch, and any developement would need to cater for both access and the needs of the population within this ward, as the primary purpose of the development is to improve the care of our patients.  

It is very much appreciated that the population of the Belfaris ward is elderly and of high need, and closure of the Belfairs branch would not be in their best interest - and this is very unlikely to happen. At present keeping the Belfairs branch open or even redeveloping this site in conjunction with a site north of the A127, would help the practice achieve many of its aims, while still enabling access to the patients.
