New-born babies should have a 6-week check with the doctor. The Child Health Service will send reminders when child vaccinations and immunisations are due. Call reception to book an appointment with a practice nurse, mentioning the specific vaccination.
Child immunisation and vaccination schedule

| 12 months | Hib, meningitis C booster, measles, mumps, rubella, pneumococcal booster, meningitis B |

Appointment Guidelines:
Weekly: Wednesdays, 8:40 am – 10:30 am
- Arrive at the correct day and time slot
- Bring only the relevant child, if possible
- Bring your appointment letter and child health record
Consent: If someone other than the parent brings the child, they must have signed consent from the parent/guardian.
Other Information
If you have any concerns or questions regarding your child’s vaccinations and immunisations, please discuss these with your health visitor prior to your appointment day.
In the event of an emergency or other extenuating circumstances, the clinic may be cancelled without notice. If this occurs we will offer alternative appointments.
Finally, for everybody’s comfort and safety, we would be grateful if you would leave the surgery following your child’s immunisation as space is extremely limited.
